Reporting Resources
Florida Department of Children and Families’ Florida Abuse Hotline serves as the central reporting center for suspected cases of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation for all children or vulnerable adults* in the state of Florida. Reports can be made in English, Spanish or Creole, and may also be sent in via fax.
*The statutory definition of a vulnerable adult is a person 18 years of age or older whose ability to perform the normal activities of daily living or to provide for his or her own care or protection is impaired due to disability, brain damage, or the infirmities of aging.
Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Exploitation is an outreach and employment program for Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers. This hotline can be used if it is suspected that a person’s rights as a farm worker have been violated by an employer.
National Human Trafficking Resource Center accepts any information on the suspected trafficking of an adult, or trafficking of a child that you believe happened outside of Florida. Reports can be made in English or Spanish, or in more than 200 additional languages using a 24-hour tele-interpretation service. U.S. Department of Justice Worker Exploitation Complaint Line may be used to report suspected instances of labor trafficking or worker exploitation in adults. It takes calls between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. The Worker Exploitation and Complaint Line offers foreign language translation services in most languages. After business hours, the complaint line has a message service in English, Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Hotline can be called to report any suspicions of human trafficking or suspected child predators.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Hotline is used to report if you have information about a missing child or suspect sexual exploitation.
The National Runaway Switchboard is a national resource that offers a communication system for homeless and runaway youth. The hotline and online service provide crisis intervention, referrals to resources, and education and prevention services to youth, families, and community members.
U.S. Department of Labor, Wage, and Hour Division serves as a reporting center for cases where labor exploitation is suspected, but not necessarily trafficking.
U.S. Department of Labor OIG Hotline can be used to report suspected trafficking through fraud in DOL programs (e.g., H-1B, H-2A, H-2B, and PERM).
Innocence Lost National Initiative by the FBI is a toll-free tip line that human trafficking can be reported to.
Education for Medical Personnel about Human Trafficking Resources
SOAR Training is a 3-hour webinar for health care providers provided by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. This training will help to identify the signs of human trafficking and respond appropriately by using the ‘stop, observe, ask, and respond’ method.
EMS Focus Webinar is a 1-hour webinar provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Office of EMS on the DHS Office of Health Affairs’ role and perspective in addressing human trafficking, defining and identifying human trafficking, the role of EMS, and real-life examples of human trafficking.
Recognizing and Responding to Human Trafficking in a Healthcare Context is a training for individuals working in healthcare settings provided by the National Human Trafficking Resource Center to help recognize the number of victims who receive healthcare services, to identify potential human trafficking victims, and to identify promising practices for assisting patients who may be potential trafficking victims.
Human Trafficking Resource List, provided by Stanford Medicine, contains multiple articles, relevant websites, and overviews for medical personnel regarding human trafficking.
Physicians Against the Trafficking of Humans (PATH) provides a comprehensive training on human trafficking for physicians. In this training, the scope of the problem, tools for screening, intervention strategies, and resources are shared.
Non-governmental Anti-Trafficking Organizations Resources
CNN Freedom Project publishes articles about recent events involving human trafficking nationally and globally. The goal of the CNN Freedom Project is to amplify the voices of the victims of modern-day slavery, highlight success stories and help unravel the tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life.
Polaris offers comprehensive information about human trafficking in the United States, including information about new legislation, state-by-state progress reports, success stories, and more.

ECPAT-USA is one of the leading policy organizations working to end the commercial, sexual exploitation of children through awareness, advocacy, policy, and legislation. ECPAT-USA advocates for federal and state legislation, promotes corporate responsibility, educates first responders, and empowers youth.
Government Organizations Resources
U.S. Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons publishes the annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, offers foreign assistance funding to anti-trafficking projects worldwide, raises awareness about human trafficking and informs about the United States’ response.
The Florida Department of Children and Families offers information about human trafficking such as the warning signs, and how to report through DCF. Additionally, it offers information on the statewide response to the trafficking of children.
The Department of Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign provides information on what exactly human trafficking is, how to identify a victim, awareness videos, and more.
The Office on Trafficking in Persons hosted through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services raises public awareness and protects victims through self-identification and assistance. This office conducts trainings and research, as well as offers information regarding federal assistance for victims.
